You do not have to edit all activities separately before adding them to a timesheet. If you select them together and click on 'add to timesheet(s)', you will be given the opportunity to modify the common data.

In the screen that will appear, you can add the selected activities to the same project. You can also change the category and description. In addition, you can also add an internal comment that is only visible to members of your organization. Here you can also choose to change the total duration (4).

After saving the approved timesheets appears at the top of the 'Timesheets' window linked to the chosen project/matter and with the corrected duration. Initially, Lexor indicated 13 minutes for these phone calls. In this example, it was adjusted to 20 minutes. Then that will also be neatly listed on the timesheet (5). Here you can also adjust the description via inline editing.

3.1 Creating multiple timesheets at once

Activities that are already automatically matched to a project can be approved by checking the activities and immediately clicking on the button 'Add to timesheet(s)'.

Then you will be given the choice to create one timesheet for one project with all selected activities or to create timesheets for all projects in the selection.

If you choose the first option, one timesheet will be created for all selected activities. Please note that you will not be able to adjust the duration time. This is an interesting option for people who only want to have an overview of their activities (and do not invoice them).

If you choose the second option, the timesheets are created according to the project they are linked to. Below you can see the result. There are no more loose activities. This means that all activities are assigned to different timesheets. In the calendar view you can see that everything is in grey. So that means everything has been approved. With this option, your timesheets are the ideal preparation for invoicing clients (per project) or analyses per project.

3.2 Creating a timesheet manually

If there is no registered activity, you have the option to create a manual timesheet. To do so, click on ‘Add timesheet’ at the top.

In the screen that now appears, you can fill in the parameters you want. Click on ‘Save’ to add your timesheet.
